Your Common Questions, Answered

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are. People dress in a variety of styles, from casual to more dressy attire. At New View, We care much more about you being here than what you're wearing. We believe church is about encountering God and connecting with others, not about what you have in your wardrobe.

Where Do I Park and Enter?

We offer convenient on-site parking at 4265 Wilbur Road, with two main entrances that are easy to locate from the parking lot. The center entrance features a handicap-accessible ramp and leads directly to our welcome lobby. Additional overflow parking is available adjacent to the main parking area for busy services and special events.

What Happens During a Typical Service?

Adult Sunday School lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, and our main Sunday service is just over an hour. During the service, you'll experience heartfelt, unashamed worship, sound biblical teaching, and a welcoming atmosphere. We desire to create space for the Holy Spirit to move while remaining firmly grounded in God's Word. Following the message, we offer an altar call and an opportunity for personal or corporate prayer for anyone seeking encouragement, support, or a deeper encounter with God. Children worship alongside their families during praise and worship and are then dismissed to Children's Sunday School before the message.

Is There Childcare Available?

We offer a nursery and nursing room for infants and mothers who may need a quiet space during the service. Children's Ministry for Pre-K through 5th grade is available on Sunday mornings following praise and worship. Children begin the service with their families and are dismissed to their class before the message.

We are also excited to soon be launching Middle School and High School services on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM.

Please note that childcare is not currently available during Wednesday evening services. Children attend the service alongside their families.

What Time Should I Arrive?

Arriving 10 to 15 minutes before the service begins gives plenty of time to park, settle in, and meet members of the church family.

How Long Does a Typical Service Last?

Adult Sunday School lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, and our main Sunday and Wednesday services are just over an hour. Even though we have set times, we allow the Holy Spirit to have final say.

Do I Need to Be a Member to Attend?

No, membership is not required. Everyone is welcome to attend services, whether visiting for the first time or exploring faith.

Do I Need to Be a Member to Give?

No. Giving is completely voluntary, and there is no expectation for first-time guests or visitors to contribute.
